Jennifer was born in Argentina and raised on Quadra Island B.C. It was here she developed a passion for playing in the outdoors, the healing arts and a love for the ocean.
Following graduation she spent several years traveling, working and living in Asia where she cultivated a deeper interest in Eastern traditional cultures and beliefs. Taking these interests to the classroom, Jennifer completed the Pacific Rim Diploma program at Langara College, Vancouver B.C. in 2002 and went on to study Anthropology and Human Geography at UBC.
Once again, Jennifer’s adventurous and itchy feet took her globetrotting before she planted them in Victoria BC. She was a member of the first graduating class of Pacific Rim College’s 3 year intensive Acupuncture Diploma program. There, she was fortunate to study and be inspired by many great teachers. She has successfully completed the rigorous set of examinations required by the acupuncture governing board of BC (CTCMA).
The goal of Acupuncture is to return the body to a state of health and equilibrium, no matter what the condition.
Jennifer loves acupuncture because it treats the body-mind-spirit as a whole.
Jennifer is happy to call Squamish her new home and is looking forward to exploring the mountains, rivers and trails the area has to offer. In her spare time she can be found riding her bikes, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, surfing, cooking, taking pictures and doing sun salutations.
She looks forwards to being part of the Squamish Integrated Health team and meeting new clients!
