In 1994 I graduated from UBC with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Life Sciences. I received my diploma in Massage Therapy from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1999. For the past 10 years I have worked as a Registered Massage Therapist and a personal trainer, working with a focus on injury rehabilitation and prevention, sports injuries, back & neck pain, headaches and overuse injuries. While using a range of massage techniques, my preferred treatment technique is Myofascial Release. I am an instructor at Utopia Academy since 2006, and teach joint mobilizations and therapeutic exercise. I bring my love of teaching and anatomy to the clinic.
After moving to Squamish and having a new baby girl, I have decided that the time is right for me to move my work up here. This will allow me to spend more time with my family. I look forward to growing a practice and continuing to evolve as a therapist with Squamish Therapeutics team of amazing therapists.
