Jenn Foreman

Jenn’s passion for massage therapy stems from personal experience, aiding in the care of her older sister, who was born with a rare genetic disorder. Growing up being surrounded daily by many compassionate caregivers, she knew she wanted to work in a career that would allow her to embrace her compassionate, caring nature. The RMT health care profession has gifted her with the means to be able to provide that same level of care to her clients.

Throughout her education, Jenn has provided care ranging from orthopedic & systemic pathologies, such as total knee replacements, RSI, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and Fibromyalgia Syndrome, to clients in need of relaxation. She values the challenges of treating sports related orthopaedic injuries and is focused on reducing adhesions and malalignments caused by Myofascial restrictions.  Her graduating case study was on ‘Myofascial techniques to reduce chronic pain related to Fibromyalgia Syndrome and to improve quality of sleep’.

Practicum placements encompassed working in many facilities treating patients recovering from the effects of cancer treatments, advanced HIV patients, high risk pregnancies, and addiction recovery, as well as patients in long term/ in-care facilities for seniors and neurological disorders.

Being an avid mountain bike rider turned her interest in 2011 towards volunteering her skills at the ‘Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race’ & then again at the 2011 ‘Gear Jammer Race.’  She also has a passion for snowboarding & gardening.

Jenn feels that knowledge is the most powerful tool for one to possess, which is why she believes client education is an essential aspect for success towards improved quality of life.
